The 18th RoboCup Singapore Open opens today at Science Centre Singapore. It is the RoboCup Singapore National Selection, which picks the best teams to represent Singapore at RoboCup Asia-Pacific (RCAP) 2026 and the RoboCup 2026 World Championship. RoboCup is considered the pinnacle robotics and AI competition and is strongly recognized by top academic institutions and industries worldwide.

This year the Open is the RoboCup Arena of RoboFest 2026, Science Centre Singapore’s first festival dedicated to robotics and AI. The festival runs from April 9–12 under the theme “Meet Tomorrow, Today” and invites families, students and the public to see robots up close. Around the competition, visitors can watch live robot shows, join hands-on robotics and AI workshops, attend talks and see applied robotics projects from universities and industry.

RCAP thanks our co-organiser NTU School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, event partners, sponsors and supporters, including Booster Robotics, HURO, Science Centre Singapore and RoboCup (Singapore) Association. We also thank the RoboFest team, our partners, and the volunteers, teachers and parents who made the event possible.
